Glo Gang (short for Glory Boyz Entertainment) is a Chicago-based rap collective and record label founded by
Chief Keef in 2011-2012, central to the rise of drill music. Emerging from the city's South Side, it represents
a lifestyle of resilience and wealth, evolving from a close-knit group of artists—including Fredo Santana, Lil
Reese, Ballout, and Tadoe—into a prominent brand.

How It Was
The GBE story begins in 2011, when 15-year-old Chief Keef founded the unofficial Glory Boyz Entertainment
movement, which included only those closest to Chief, such as Fredo, Caper Boy, Blood Money, Capo, Doowop,
T-Slick, Tadoe, Ballout, Lil Flash, Gino Marley, SD, Lil Reese, Terintino, Tray Savage, ManeMane and Chief Keef
himself. All these people made a firm decision to get out of poverty.
Officially, the Glory Boyz Entertainment label appeared in 2012. At that time, Chief Keef was very popular and
was the subject of a real war between labels wishing to sign a contract with him. Keef signed a contract with
Interscope Records, which promised him to get his own label, Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE). The deal amounted
to $6,000,000, as well as an additional $440,000 for the creation and promotion of GBE. Sosa was contractually
obligated to release 3 albums on this label. The debut album "Finally Rich" was released on December 18, 2012
and was remembered for a long time. The album featured many guest artists and reached number 29 on the Billboard
200.
Rebranding to Glo Gang: In early 2014, Chief Keef announced that GBE was "no more" and rebranded to Glo Gang,
solidifying the group's identity around the concept of "Glo" (glory).
